The Claude Finance Playbook is a live online training course provided by CompassPoint Consulting Services Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16274583, whose contact address is 60 Grosvenor Street, London W1K 3HZ ("CompassPoint", "we", "us", "our"). These terms form the agreement between you (the person enrolling) and us. By completing the sign-up form and payment, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and to the refund policy set out below.
The course is taught by Zain ul Abideen, FCCA. Claude is a product of Anthropic. We are an independent training provider and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Anthropic.
Each enrolment as a participant includes:
Session dates and times are shown on the enrolment page. We may make small changes to the timetable or content to improve the course.
The fee for the course is the amount shown on the enrolment page at the time you enrol, and applies per person. Payment is taken securely through Stripe at the point of enrolment. Your place is confirmed once payment is completed and you receive confirmation from us, which we aim to send within 24 hours.
One enrolment entitles one named person to attend. Course access, recordings and materials are for that person only and may not be shared with, or used by, anyone else.
In short: full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before your intake starts, less any payment processing fee. After that we cannot offer a cash refund, but we will help you move to a later intake or give you the recordings and materials.
To request a refund or a transfer, email info@compasspoint-consulting.com. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method and may take a few business days to appear.
If you are enrolling as a consumer rather than for business purposes, nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
If we need to reschedule a session, we will give you as much notice as we can and provide the recording if you cannot attend the new time. If we cancel an intake entirely, you may choose a full refund or a place in another intake. Our responsibility is limited to the fee you paid, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.
Sessions are recorded so you can catch up or revisit them. Recordings are available for 90 days from the date of each session and are for the registered participant's personal use only. You may not download, copy, share, publish or resell the recordings or any course materials.
The course teaches methods and techniques for using Claude in finance work. Artificial intelligence tools can produce incorrect or incomplete results. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before you rely on it or use it in your own work. We do not warrant that any AI tool will produce a particular result.
The course and its materials are for training and educational purposes only. Nothing provided is financial, accounting, tax, legal or investment advice, and it should not be relied upon as such. You remain responsible for the professional judgement you apply in your own work.
All course content, slides, recordings, datasets, prompts and materials are owned by CompassPoint Consulting and are licensed to you for your own personal use during and after the course. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, resell or use them to deliver your own training without our written permission.
A certificate of completion recording eight CPD hours is issued once you have completed all four sessions, whether attended live or watched by recording, on a self-certified basis. It is your responsibility to record these hours with your professional body in line with its rules.
CompassPoint Consulting Services Ltd is the data controller for the personal data you provide, and processes it in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect and why. We collect the details you give us when you enrol, such as your name, email address and phone number. We use them to take payment, administer your enrolment, deliver the course, send you the information you need to take part, and, where you have agreed, send you occasional updates about our work. Our lawful bases are the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving the course, and your consent for any marketing.
Who we share it with. We use trusted providers to run the course, including Stripe for payment, ClickUp for the enrolment form, and a messaging platform for the participant group. They process your data on our behalf. We do not sell your data. Some of our providers, and members of our team, are located outside the UK, so your data may be transferred internationally with appropriate safeguards in place.
How long we keep it. We keep your data only as long as we need it to deliver the course and meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights. You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent to marketing at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@compasspoint-consulting.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your enrolment is the one published on this page at the time you enrol. The date this page was last updated is shown at the top.
These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
